Well, other than the fact that Axe Cop is super funny and Ethan Nicolle is a really nice guy, there’s also a 2 page Possum and Axe Cop cross over, written by 2 of my children (Avery – age 8 and Jacob – age 6) and drawn by me!

Here’s the first page of a 3 page comic I just finished for the 2012 SPACE Anthology, which is a collection of original comics put together by some of the independent comic artists that will be exhibiting at this year’s  S.P.A.C.E.  (Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo) this April 21st and 22nd, which will be taking place in Ohio.  This is one of the more fun conventions to attend as an exhibitor because it’s a smaller show, with lots of socializing between the creators.

I’d love to show you the whole 3 pages, but I should really wait until after the convention, so for now, this is all you get:)

Here’s a sneak peek at something I’ve been working on for the 2012 SPACE Anthology.  I’m a little late getting it in, but hopefully I’ll still make the final, final deadline.  This will be a 3 page stand alone, Possum Short.  I haven’t forgotten about issue #6 though, so don’t worry.  My hopes are still to have issue #6 finished for later this summer, but at the moment I’m not promising anything, as I’m barely keeping my head above water with story boarding, teaching, and being a chauffeur to 3 hockey playing kids.

I’ll let you know how this turns out when I finish it (just a taste though, because you’ve got to get the SPACE anthology if you want to see the whole thing….. at least for now).
