Vacation’s over. Time to get down to business, and finish this comic.
I just got back from an amazing snowboarding trip to Fernie B.C! Man, it was awesome. And check out those cool Possum T shirts! (available to order here) In this picture, is 4/6 of the Kitchen sibblings (from left to right) Brad, Brian, Jeff, and me. Mike and Laurie, you missed a good trip. I guess we’ll all have to do it again next year.
Work, work, work. Here’s a new Captain Smith and Broccoli Boy strip.
This is an illustration for a children’s book that I am illustrating for a friend. It is a really cute story about Christmas.
I posted some rough sketches for this a while ago, but I am finally starting to work on some of the finished illustrations (between everything else that I am doing). Painting isn’t one of my strong points, but I would really like to get batter at it, so hopefully when this book is finished, I will have gotten better, and the pictures won’t suck too much.
Well, It’s official! I’ve got my plane ticket, and we’re on their website as exhibitors (Possum Press and Ultraist Studios)! Me and my bro Mike, are going to be exhibiting at the Alternative Press Expo this April 21 – 22! I have been working like crazy, trying to get The Possum #2 finished for this show. It will take 3 – 4 weeks to print, so that means all of the artwork has to be finished within the next 3 – 4 weeks. (It seems like a lot of time, but cramming it in on weekends and weeknights, doesn’t leave that much breathing room). Thanks to some late nights, I have inked the first 18 (of 24) pages, and have 2 more to rough out.
I’m really looking forward to this Expo. Hopefully I’ll get to see you there, if you are in, or around San Francisco! I’ll keep you updated!
