I just got back from an amazing snowboarding trip to Fernie B.C! Man, it was awesome. And check out those cool Possum T shirts! (available to order here) In this picture, is 4/6 of the Kitchen sibblings (from left to right) Brad, Brian, Jeff, and me. Mike and Laurie, you missed a good trip. I guess we’ll all have to do it again next year.
sweet! looks like a good time B-man
Nice pic.
Once my plan for world domination is in motion, I will be able to globe-trot with the rest of you free-wheeling hooligans. But alas, I remain stagnant, constrained by the circumstances of life, or better yet, “life”.
Aw man, now I’m jealous. I haven’t been to Fernie since I was a kid. GREAT skiing/snowboarding. Great, now I gots the itch.
Good to see your brother is still plotting to take over the world… reminds me of college.
Hey I had no idea you snowboard! We use to go to Tahoe every year to snowboard. Now I guess we’ll have to wait till Matthew is old enough to join us. 🙂 The weather in your pic doesnt’ look like it’s warm enough for just tshirts. I guess you’re just a true Canadian! 😛
Craig: Yeah! I didn’t want to leave. My legs still feel like jello, but I could keep going forever. Everytime I close my eyes, I feel like I’m still snowboarding.
John: I want Mike to hurry up and take over the world, because there must be some perks to being the brother of the ruler of the world. He seems to be taking his sweet time…….. Hurry up Mike!… Bush and Swarzennegger are going to beat you to it.
Vi: Me and Rochelle started snowboarding right after school. It’s only my second time out west. Last year I went to Kicking Horse, and Lake Louise. This year, we brought Avery and Jacob. Avery tried skiing, and had a blast. I ran her up and down the “Mighty Moose” tee bar for a couple hours each day. Talk about a workout. I couldn’t feel my legs afterwards, but she ended up getting the hang of snowplowing, and started getting cocky. It was great.
Mike: Like I said…… Get that world domination thing happening……… “less talking more working g@sh d@rn!t!!
Fernie is like my brother in-law’s favourite place to ski. Must be popular!
PS- Captain Smith and Broccoli boy below is super well made man(drawing and humour.. good for you 😉
Mr. John “Monkeyfeather” Hoffman!
It’s been a long time. While you have been mastering your “art” technique, I have been cloning my army of minions! Of course the cloning machine hasn’t exactly been working, so I’ve had to resort to more (how shall I say) “traditional” methods… yet in the meantime my “clicking” technique has nearly been mastered (completely useless, save for setting keyframes, and launching nuclear armageddon).
Cool to hear from you.
Yes, even here in the virtual pages of The Possum Press Blog.
All bruised up and ready to draw again A.
So funny.
*R
Ariel: Thanks man. Fernie is known for their snow conditions, and it stood up to the expectations.
Rob: I had a few pretty good spills. I don’t know if I’m ready to draw again, but that’s what I have to do.
