If any of you Possum Press Blog readers are going to be in or around Maryland this weekend, you really should stop on by the Small Press Expo (SPX). Once again, Possum Press and Ultraist studios are teaming up, and we will be doing sketches and selling comics all weekend! The Possum van is leaving at 5AM on Friday, to make the 9.5 hour drive. We haven’t booked a hotel, or anywhere to stay, so we’re bringing some air mattresses to put in the back of the ol’ van. (Should be interesting). I think I’ll bring a colman stove, so I can have some soft boiled eggs for breakfast!! mmmm mmmm.
This weekend at SPX is also the debut of the Awesome anthology, that I contributed a two page Possum comic to. I can’t wait to get my copy! (I mentioned it here earlier).
man, Blair, you’re working hard!! very inspiring. i’ve done bugger all since moving home. have fun in the US of A.

Hey, Blair! Hope you made it back safe after the convention! It was great sitting next to you and Mike this year. Can’t wait to see you at the next convention! 😀
Blair, I met you at the con on Saturday. Just wanted to thank you for the sketch and spending the time talking with me and my cousin (‘Mork’), ha!
I read through The Possum right when I got home, and I thought it was great. I dug the image of the bus barreling down on him. I’m pissed I didn’t just go ahead and buy the rest of the series. I’ll be in touch later about that.
Anyways, loved the comic and ’twas nice meeting you.
Man, someday you gotta show me how to make comic books! Like quick.
James: Bugger all is good too.
John: I’m back, and still alive. We were definitely blessed with good table neighbours this year! We’re planning on making SPX a regular stop, so hopefully we’ll see you next year!
Darren: Ha……. Mork……! I’m glad you liked the book, and I appreciate you picking it up. I’ve got lots of copies here, and I’m sure I’m not selling out anytime soon. The pleasure was all mine!
Warren: As soon as I figure out how to make comic books, I’ll let you know.
